October To March
Winter Cutting

September
Catch-Up
A good month for winter covers before the first named storm turns planning into panic.
Fabric Choice
The Material Follows The Job.
- Marine Acrylic CanvasSmart, breathable and common for boat and garden work
- PVC-Coated PolyesterGood for machinery and wipe-clean weather protection
- Breathable Storage ClothUseful indoors where dust is the enemy and condensation matters
- Reinforcement PatchesAdded where corners, handles, rails or filler caps would chafe
Plain Rules
What RKA Will Not Do.
- No sails, sprayhood frames, upholstery cushions or bimini stainless frames.
- No copying another maker’s cover without the boat, furniture or machine present for checking.
- No height work, scaffolding covers, lorry curtains or emergency storm tarpaulins.
- No boat cockpit cover quote from dimensions alone because rail positions, cleats and screen angles matter.
- No repair on rotten acrylic canvas where the stitching will simply tear through again.
